An exciting carnival

In the last PE class we skated.  It was a practise for the dance of the Carnival that we will celebrate on the 21st February.  We are cats.  We dance to the music of the film ‘Puss in Boots’ dancing in the flamenco style.

The dance starts when we are all on our knees.  Then the girls start to dance and move forward approximately 5 metres.  After which they return to their starting position.  After that the boys do a similar routine and return to their starting position.

The next thing that happens is that everybody skates in a line, one behind another, in a circle, ending up in two lines opposite each other. When the music stops, we have to go down onto our knees again.

After that the boys stand up and skate, as fast as they can, into the centre of the stage and back to their line again.  The girls do the same.  We have to be careful not to fall down!

Then the boys skate across to the other side of the stage and girls do the same.  All this in time to the music.

Finally, the boys skate anti clockwise in a circle, while the girls skate in a clockwise direction around them.

We have to dance quickly otherwise we will run out of time!

  1. Brilliant job Gabriel !!

I didn´t find important mistakes, just two things:

    1) To go down on your knees (instead of onto your knees)

    2) The skater is traveling clockwise on a circle

Anyway, congratulations for the text and you were amazing this carnival.
